Abolaji Abimbola: Biography Babylon 2009

Project Title: THE LACE VEIL
Abolaji is a Nigerian writer, producer and director. He has written over 9 feature film scripts and 11 short scripts, two which he produced, one of which he directed and edited. His short script FLAWED CONCEPTION was 1st runner up in the BSSC 2008 competition and will be premiered at the 2010 BAFTAS. He has a degree in Business from the London Guildhall University and studied Documentary Film Making at the National Film and Television School. He has shot and produced two documentary films, one on Autism and the other on Cancer. Abolaji is also a published author and enjoys doing voice-overs for commercials and films. He co-founded Piankhi Films in 2002 with George Harris (Raiders of the Lost Ark, Harry Potter - Order of the Phoenix) and overall, is passionate about good story telling.
