Clara Trischler: Biography

Project Title: BALATON TANDEM
Clara Trischler was born in 1986 close to Vienna as the daughter of a Slovak mother (who left her country when she was ten and after a few years in Bangladesh and Kenya reached Austria in the Seventies) and a father from Lower Austria. After a year of studying at the European Film College in Denmark she lived in Israel, where she worked in the Holocaust resource center as well as for various films and film festivals. After internships in Berlin and New York Clara started studying screenwriting at the Viennese Film Academy in 2009.
