Frazer Churchill: Biography


Writer/Director

Project Title: APACHE

Frazer has 12 years Film Industry experience having been a Visual Effects Artist and more recently Visual Effects Supervisor on numerous productions. In 2007 he was nominated for a BAFTA film award for his VFX work on Children of Men.

In 2011 He was shortlisted for an Academy Award for his VFX work on Scott Pilgrim Vs The World

Over the last 5 years Frazer has made the transition to Writer/Director. In 2008 his first short film "Hatemail" won funding from the UK Film Council and won Best Short Film at the Bootleg Film Festival. It was also Official Selection at top tier festivals Slamdance, Nashville and Edinburgh, as well as being played at numerous others. Last year he designed and Directed a Music Video called "Stockpiling Poison" which won Best Music Video at the Burbank International Film Festival and Best Music Video at the Mississippi International Film Festival.

Frazer has just finished writing his first Feature script "Apache" which is a distinctive "coming of age" tale. Apache has been accepted into the prestigious Babylon 2012 development programme and is in active development with Hakan Kousetta LLP.

During his Filmmaking career Frazer has had the good fortune to have worked with some of the best Filmmakers in the world. He has an intimate understanding of the film making process having been involved in over 15 films from pre- production to final grade.
