Marjan Alcevski: Biography


Studied journalism and holds a BA in dramaturgy (ADU, University of Zagreb). 3 years of work experience as a writer developing film and TV projects for PlanetB production in Zagreb. 8 years experience as volunteer and professional in several youth, education and activist organizations in Skopje, Zagreb and the Netherlands.

Participated in ExOriente and EAVE programmes while developing Cash & Marry. Participated in Cinemadance Intensive Workshop held by FAMU staff. Published several short stories in Croatia.

Made shortlist of BBC International Playwriting Competition 2012

Born in Skopje, Macedonia in 1978. Lives and works in Zagreb, Croatia. Married. Father of two.
