Objectives 2010
The innovative aim of BABYLON INTERNATIONAL 2010 is to build a bridge between Europe and West Africa via:
- the African talents already at work within Europe
- the many European producers, distributors, sales agents and other professionals with a creative or commercial interest in Africa
- the European émigrés already working in Africa
- the African film professionals eager to offer their work to European audiences
In the process we intend:

- to learn from the vitality and exuberance of different African markets
Our wider aims include:
- Creation of successful, commercially viable European films
- Strengthening of the European audiovisual sector
- Discovery, fostering and promotion of sustainable new talent
- Liberation of undiscovered voices who can speak to a large audience
- Encouragement of powerful new stories that reflect two rapidly changing continents
- Creation of new cross-border markets through films of cultural mobility
- Encouragement of new co-production and distribution patterns
